Rend Lake Golf Resort
This outstanding southern Illinois course was designed as a 27-hole complex by renowned Chicago architect Lawrence Packard. Original construction consisted of 18 holes, opening in 1976. An additional 9 holes were added in 1994 to meet demand and the resulting 27-hole course is a delight for golfers of all skill levels, earning it recognition in Golf Digest Magazine “Best Places to Play”.
Rend Lake Golf Course offers:
Five sets of tees, which allow the course to be played between 4,900 and 6,900 yards for 18 holes.
Large Bent grass greens averaging 7,500 square feet per green.

Portions of the course overlook the waters of Rend Lake.
A state of the art, lighted driving range and practice facility opened in the spring of 1995, with two large tees, raised target greens and a practice bunker. A putting green near the first tee provides a second short game practice area. Rend Lake Golf Course also features a fully staffed and stocked Pro Shop with the latest in fashion, equipment, and instruction.

Crab Orchard Golf Club
Crab Orchard Golf Club is a par 70 golf course featuring Zoysia and Bermuda grass on the tees and fairways with Bent grass on the greens. COGC is built on the original Ferrell Farm and was opened in 1959. It is an enjoyable and fun place to play no matter your skill level or age. With our superb conditioning, excellent greens, and lush fairways, you will be treated to a golf course that you will enjoy playing.
Conveniently located near IL Highway 13 and just minutes from Interstate 57, Crab Orchard Golf Club is easily accessible for daily play, a weekend away from the city, or your next outing. Golf at Franklin County Country club requires contemplation and thought because of the placement of water hazards, the maturity of hardwood trees, tall pines lining the fairways, and the presence of earth berms and bunkers. Zoysia Fairways on rolling terrain were the final touch.
