About This Rental
The Red Roof Log Cabin is located right across the street. It has two lofts and sleeps up to 6 guests. At the lake, guests have access to a canoe, kayaks, paddleboats, paddle boards, swim mats and fishing poles during their stay, along with a dock box full of life jacket in nearly every size! These are shared with the other rentals.
We have a private dock which guests can park their personal boat at, or can fish off of. During your stay at the Red Roof, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. All towels and bed linens are included with your stay. We also include treats at check in, coffee and coffee pods, sugar and creamer.
Outside of the log cabin, there is a gas grill and fire pit with wood ready to start your camp fire. During the winter months we have a fireplace inside to help keep you cozy during your stay. The spacious deck is great for viewing the beautiful Southern Illinois sky – the epicenter of the 2017 solar eclipse!
The Red Roof Log Cabin has one loft with a queen bed and one loft with two twin beds in addition to a sofa sleeper located on the main floor. Full kitchen, family room, dining room, bathroom with claw foot tub/shower, outdoor deck, across the street from lake with access to lake, boat dock and stargazing deck.
The space
The Red Roof Log Cabin has a washer and dryer located in the cabin.
Smaller loft has a ladder to access it. Larger loft has steep stairs.
There is a smart tv and there are lots of DVD movies to watch.
We have a table with games and puzzles in it.
If the night is clear… have s’mores by the fire or sit on the deck and look at the amazing sky
Guest access
The Red Roof Log Cabin is accessible up a short staircase with handrails, and is locked using an electronic keypad for your convenience.

Please NO SMOKING in the Red Roof Log Cabin
We offer high speed internet at this location!
In the winter months if there is ice outside, it may be difficult to enter and exit the neighborhood.
You do have the entire log cabin to yourself, and if you need space for more guests, let us know as we may have more space in our other rentals!
